AM General (Hummer II) Project

RLE Industries was awarded the lighting package for the Hummer II plant at AM General in Mishawaka, IN, the company that manufactures the new jeep for the United States military and the “civilianized” Hummer for which this plant was built.

One of the largest projects of its' kind in this part of the country, a great deal of coordination and logistics was required to deliver the finished project on-time. At the same time RLE was required to meet very strict specifications that our factory was able to achieve. Fixtures were tested and retested to meet these specifications and as a result a 0 failure rate was achieved.

Given the very short timeframe within which this plant had to be built, our manufacturing operation worked around the clock to meet their delivery time requirements. RLE Industries backed up its' workmanship by providing a 2 year guarantee on its' luminaries, including both materials and factory labor.
